What is Ebbtide?

Ebbtide is a real-time zombie survival strategy game developed and published by ProjectAlive, coming to Steam for Windows and macOS. You command TF-1 Ark, a carrier task force built around humanity's last aircraft carrier, starting in a Los Angeles overrun by more than a million zombies.

The operations map is the battlefield: scroll into any street and it becomes the live 3D pixel-art fight with no loading screen, while scrolling back out keeps the battle running. Los Angeles is split into 15 districts that slide from Hold to Crisis to Lost, and a hive mind called the Nexus ambushes your convoys and cuts your supply roads.

How Ebbtide Compares

Closest neighbours are They Are Billions and the modern zombie RTS wave — but the carrier campaign and the district map are not the same design.

1They Are Billions — fixed colony, one map, no campaign layer
2Ebbtide — 15 sliding districts plus a world campaign on the carrier
3Supply lines and finite ship magazines are the real divider
4Verdict: same horde pressure, different failure mode
